❤️ JGFC Staveley Community Centre is Proud to Support Ruth Haslam ❤️
At JGFC Staveley Community Centre, we are incredibly proud to be hosting this special Race Night Fundraiser in support of our wonderful friend, Ruth Haslam.
Ruth's courage and determination since suffering a devastating brain stem stroke at just 23 years old has inspired so many people. Despite the enormous challenges she faces every day, Ruth continues to work tirelessly towards her recovery with incredible strength, resilience and a smile that lights up every room.
As Ruth's rehabilitation continues, her needs are changing. One of the biggest challenges she now faces is that her current wheelchair can no longer be properly maintained because replacement parts are no longer available. A new wheelchair is essential to help maintain her independence, comfort and quality of life, alongside the ongoing speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and specialist equipment that continue to play such an important part in her recovery.
That is why this fundraiser means so much.
Every ticket purchased and every pound raised will go directly towards helping Ruth access the equipment and therapies she needs to continue making progress.
